1928 DEC 18 CC MINEl Segunndo', Cal. Dec. 18, 1928. An adjourned regular meeting of the City Council of the City of El Segundo, Califbrnia, was called to order at 14:40 o'clock P. M. on the above date, in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City, by the City Clerk, the Mayor being absent. Councilman Love was unanimously chosen l:ayor pro -tem and he immediately assumed the duties of the Mayor. ROLL CALL. Councilmen Present: Gerow, Krimmel, Love and Selby. Councilman Absent: Binder. Moved by Councilman Krimmel, seconded by Councilman Selby-, that the regular order of business be dispensed with. Carried. Moved by Councilman Krimmel, seconded by Councilman Selby that two 30 x 4.50 tires and tubes be purchased for use on the Dodge Touring Car of the City of El Segundo, at a total cost not to exceed $30.00. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen Gerow, Krimmel, Love and Selby. Noes: None. Absent: Councilman Binder. 94 3ooi :: A communication from Arthur Budgen, dated December 15th, 1928, was read, the same being his resignation from the position of City Gardener, to take effect one month from date of the communication, and on motion of Councilman Krimmel, seconded by Councilman Gerow, which carried, the same was taken under advisement. No further business appearing to be transacted at this meeting, it was moved by Councilman Selby, seconded by Councilman Krimmel, that the meeting adjourn. Carried.
