An adjourned regular meeting of the City Council of the City of El.
Segundo, California,. was called to order at 4:40 o'clock P. Y. on the above
date,.in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City, by Peter E.
Binder., Mayor.
ROLL CALL.
Councilmen Present: Krimmel, Love and Binder.
.Councilmen Absent: Cannon and Gerow.
Moved by Councilman Krimmel, .seconded by Councilman Love, that the
regular order of business be dispensed with. Carried.
-The Council having inspected the topography of the land surrounding
the bowling court green at the Grand Avenue Park Site, by general consent
the City Gardener was instructed to- construct the stairs and approach to
said bowling court from the easterly side thereof, and to improve the
northerly and easterly slopes of said court by the planting of shrubs.
1oved by Councilman Love, seconded by Councilman Krimmel, that R. T.
Hutchins, Superintendent of the Water Department, be and he is hereby
authorized and instructed to attend the Convention of the American Water
'Uorks Association to be held at San Jose, California, October-5th to 8th,
1927, and that said official be allowed the sum of. 75.00 as expenses in
connection with attendance at said convention. Carried by the following
vote: .
Ayes: Councilmen Krimmel, Love and Binder,
Noes: None.
Absent: Councilmen Cannon and Gerow.
Moved by Councilman Love, seconded by Councilman Krimmel, that the .
Little.Wonder Air Compressor, used in connection with the heating plant
at the -City Hall, be repaired at.a cost not to exceed $15.00. Carried by
the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Krimmel, Love and Binder.
Noes: None.
Absent: Councilmen Cannon and Gerow.
