A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of -Zl Segundo,
California, was caller:_ to order at 7:00 o'clock P. LT. on the above date, in the
Council Chamber of the City :call of said City, by Peter E. Binder, President of
the Board.

Trustees Present: Cannon, Gerow, F.rimmel, Love and Binder.

The minutes of the re~ular meeting held on the 25th day of February, 1927,
were read. No errors or omissions appearing, it was moved by Trustee Gerow,
seconded by Trustee Krimmel, that the minutes be approved as read. Carried.
^he minutes of the adjourned regular meeting held on the 2nd day of Larch,
1927, were read, without error or omission being noted and were approved as
read upon motion of `Trustee Love, seconded by Trustee Kri= -el, which carried.

The hour of 7 :30 o'clock P. Y. at this meeting, having heretofore been
fixed as the time for receiving bids for furnishing all labor and material
necessary to construct one trunk line sanitary sewer within the City of �1
Seo ::do, the President arose and :announced the hour of 7 :29 o'clock P. LT.
and asked if there were any person or persons present d;;siring to file bids for
said work. Me hour of 7 :30 o'clock P. LT. having arrived, and all bids being
in, the President then declared the time for receiving bids for furnishing all
labor and material necessary for the construction of one trunk line sanitary
sewer within the City of 1 Segundo, closed.
LToved by Trustee Cannon, seconded by Trustee Kri~mel, that the Board
proceed to open, examine and publicly declare all of the bids received for
furrdshing all labor and material for the construction of one trunk line sanitary
sewer within the City of El Segundo, as advertised for. Carried.
The City Clerk announced that seven bids had been received for furnishing
all labor and material for the construction of one trunk line sanitary sewer
within the City of El Segundo.
The Board then proceeded to open, examine and publicly declare all bids
received for furnishing all labor and material necessary to construct one trunk
line sanitary sewer within the City of rl Segundo, which said bids were found by

City Gardener 3udgen reported that he had investigated -the ratter of the
planting of a tree in front of the residence of J. Powers, i,o. 813 Bonita Vista
Avenue, which said matter was heretofore referred to him by the Board, and
that in vie-,-7 of the fact that such plantin- would upset the plantin- scheme
heretofore :corked out for teat block, he deene4 it inadvisable and the tree
not slanted.
The City Gardener recornmended the planting of ice plants in certain

and he explained certain methods of construction and quoted his estimates
of the cost of constructing bankers similar to the sketches he had prepared.

Street and that if the ratter is not given irm-nediate attention, it will soon

be and he is hereby authorized and instructed to make repairs to the shoulders
o° E1 Segundo Avenue, rLere necessary, between Center Street and Arizona Drive,
as a part of the regular street maintenance work of his Department. Carried
