Moved by Trustee Cannon, seconded by Trustee Gerow, that the demands be
allowed and warrants drawn on and paid out of the respective funds covering the
same. Carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Trustees Cannon, Gerow, Krimmel, Love and Binder.
Noes: None.
Absent: None.
The Board discussed at length the matter of the piano in the City Hall
Auditorium being moved about the room from one point to another by the various
renters of the City Hall Auditorium and the fact that such removal is detrimental
to slid piano and to the floor of said City Hall Auditorium, as well as to the
canvas floor covering in said room, and that the Board also is of the opinion
that if such- promiscuous moving of the instrument is not stopped, greater
damage to municipal property will result and personal injury may be sustained
by some individual. It was thereupon determined by general consent that said
piano be placed upon the stage or platform in said City Hall Auditorium and not
removed therefrom and that the City Clerk have prepared and posted in a con-
spicuous place on or near said piano a placard reading: "This piano must not be
removed from this platform, Bar order of the Board of Trustees, City of E1 Segundo "q
and also to address a letter to the organizations using the City Hall Auditorium
advising of this determination of this Board.
No further business appearing to be transacted at this meeting, it was
moved by Trustee Cannon, seconded by Trustee Love, that the meeting adjourn.
Carried.
Approved:
President, Board of Trustees.
