AA adjourned regular meeting of the City Council of the City of E1 Segundo,
California, was called to order at-4t40 o'clock P. X. on the above date, in the
Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City by Peter E. Binder, Mayor.
ROLL CALL.
Councilmen Presentt Gerow, grimmsl, Love and Binder.
Councilmen Absents Cannon.
Moved by Councilman Love, seconded by Councilman Krimmel, that the regular order
of business be dispensed with. Carried.
Rye City Clerk reported that, at the session of,the Legislature of the State.of.
California rocently completed, numerous amendments to the street improvement laws
of tho Stat4 of California were made, and that for.the guidance of his office,
the Cjty Treasure, City Engineer and the Street Superintendent, copies of.the revised
lass should be procured. Whersupon.it was moved by_Coromcilman Love, seconded by .
Councilman Kr mnel, that the City Clerk be and he je hereby_authorised.to purchase
throo.copies of Lockets Blue Book, revised to 19270,at a coat not to escoed $12.00•

A communication 1from the Colorado River Acqueduot Association, dated July
30th, 1927, advising that said Association will hold a meeting at Ontario,
California, August 6th, 19279 and requesting that this City send a delegate, with
authority to express the policy of the City with reference to becoming or not
becoming a part of the Metropolitan Water District, in event the City of El
Segw3do desires to participate in the activities of the proposed District*
The letter was ordered filed, and by general consent the Clerk was instruotod.to
advise the said Association that this City is not desirous of participating in
or becoming a part of the proposed Metropolitan Water District.
