A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City
of E1 Segundo, California, was called to order at 7:00 o'clock
P. M. on the above date, in the Council Chamber of the City Hall
of said City by Peter E. Binder, President of the Board.

The minutes of the regular-meeting held on the 27th
day of August, 1926, were read without error or omission being
noted. It was moved by Trustee Gerow, seconded by Trustee Krimmel
that the minutes be approved as read. Carried.
The minutes of the adjourned regular meeting held on the
30th day of August, 1926, were read. No error or omission being
noted, it was moved by Trustee Krimmel, seconded by Trustee Gerow
that the minutes be approved as read. Carried.

WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS.
The following communications were read and disposed of
as indicated:
GEORGE E. RE17RO requested a special permit to erect
a partition, partly of glass and pertly of wood, in the building
at No. 103 Richmond Street, El Segundo, occupied by him as a
Billiard Parlor at present, said partition to enclose a proposed
lunch counter. It was thereupon moved by Trustee Gerow, seconded
by Trustee Krimmel that the permit requested be granted, subject
to the construction being completed in accordance with Ordinances
of the Board of Trustees of the City of E1 Segundo, California,
and to the satisfaction of the Building Inspector of said City.
The motion was carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Trustees Gerow, Krimmel and Binder
Noes: None
Absent :Trustees Cannon and Love.
ORAL COMdTNICATIONS
MRS. ELMER PETERSON requested the Board of Trustees to
supply the Parents Teachers Association with flowers from the
Municipal Park, said flowers to be presented to the school teachers
of said City of E1 Segundo on the day of opening schools, to wit:
September 7th, 1926.
By general consent the care -taker of trees and shrubs
of said City of E1 Segundo was instructed to gather such flowers
as are available and to deliver the s9me to the E1 Segundo Grammar
_ School on the afternoon of September 6th, 1926.
REPORTS OF STANDING COMUTTEES
Trustee Krimmel reported that the guard rail across the
culvert on the Coast Boulevard adjacent to the Standard Oil Salt
Water Station had been repaired as ordered, but that the same needed
painting. By general consent the Street Superintendent was in-
structed to have the same painted at his earliest convenience

REPORTS OF OFFICERS & SPECIAL COMMITTEES.
Trustee Gerow reported having ordered the Christmas
Tree from the Beverly Hills Nursery, and that the same would
be ready for delivery and planting cluing the next week.
Trustee Krimmel reported that he and Trustee Gerow
had gone over the matter of the removal of a shed in the rear
of No. 103 Richmond Street, as heretofore requested by Mars.
Amelia J. Davis, and that in view of the fact that no greater
fire hazard is created they had granted permission for the
removal of this building. It was stated that said shed would
be in a better condition after removal than it is at present.

Trustee Krimmel introduced Ordinance No. 131

which was read.
The Clerk drew attention to the fact that the
County Surveyor had requested certain changes in the map of
Tract No. 7052 in the City of E1 Segundo, being a subdivision
of Lot 19 Tract No. 2356, as per Map recorded in Book 22,
Page 152 of maps, records of Los Angeles County, California,
which had heretofore been prepared by Russel Thomas Hutchins,
a licensed surveyor of the State of California, and presented
_ to this Board of Trustees for approval and approved by this
Board on the 30th day of July, A. D., 1926. Following
examination of this map as amended it was moved by Trustee
Krimmel, seconded by Trustee Gerow that the folowing resolu-
tion be adopted:
WHEREAS, on the 30th day of July, A. D., 1926,
there was presented to this Board of Trustees for
approval a map of Tract No. 7052, in the City of E1
Segundo, California, which said map was thereupon
approved as presented,
AMID, WHEREAS, the Count; Surveyor of Los Angeles
County, California, has seen fit to amend said map in
certain particulars,
AND, MMMS, said map as amended has been repre-
sented to this Board of Trustees for approval,
NOW, THr"'' 37ORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the resolution
of this Board of Trustees adopted'_ July 30th, 1926,
and of record at Page G -270 of the Minutes of this Board,
approving said map as originally presented, be and the same
is hereby repealed and that said map as amended and pre-
sented to this Board this date be, and the same is hereby
approved and that Sycamore Avenue, as shown on said map
and therein offered for dedication as- a public highway
be and the same is hereby accepted by this Board on
behalf of the public for highway purposes, and the
City Clerk is hereby directed to endorse the-approval
of this Board upon the same.

IM. 0. F. PELSNALL presented for approval
a map of Tract No. 9542 in the City of E1 Segundo, California,
being a subdivision of a portion of Lot 119 Block 98, E1 Segundo
Sheet No. 3, recorded in Book 20, Pages 22 and 23 of Maps,
Records of Los Angeles County, California.
After examination of said map it was moved by Trustee
Gerow, seccrded by Trustee Krimme1 that the Map of Tract No. 9542
in the City of E1 Segundo, presented to this Board this date
for approval be and the same is hereby approved by this Board
and the City Clerk is hereby directed to endorse the approval
of this Board upon the same.
Said resolution was carried by the following vote:
AYES: TRUSTEES Gerow, Krimmel and Binder
NOES: None
IBSENT: TRUSTZ'SS Cannon and Love
No further business appearing to be transacted at
this meeting, it was moved by Trustee Krimmel, seconded by Trustee
