El Segundo, Cal. May 18th, 1926.
An adjourned regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of El
Segundo, California, was called to order at 4:40 o'clock P. M. on the above date,
in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City by Peter E. Binder, President
of the Board.
ROLL CALL.
Trustees Present: Gerow, Krimmel, Love and Binder.
Trustees Absent: Cannon.
Moved by Trustee Love, seconded by Trustee Krimmel, that the regular order
of business be dispensed with. Carried.
"The Clerk announced receipt of a letter dated May 17th, 1926, from Mr. R.
A. Wattson, in which he advised he had authorized property owners on the various
streets throughout Lateral Sewerage District No. 1 within the City of E1 Segundo
to connect their premises should they so desire with those portions of the
sewer system which he is constructing for the City of S1 Segundo which are com-
pleted, such action on his part being merely a courtesf extended to the owners of
property adjoining the sewer and in no manner to be construed as an acceptance of
the completed work by the City of El Segundo or the Board of Trustees thereof.
Ordered filed.
The Clerk advised that Mr. J. Snyder, owner of the dwelling house situated
To. 648 '.Jest Walnut Avenue, requested that a hole approximately two feet deep
in front of his premises on said West Walnut Avenue be filled as it creates a
condition dangerous to travel upon said street. By general consent the matter
was referred to the Street Superintendent for attention.
The City Clerk reported that Mr. Fred E. Kenney, 624 West Mariposa Avenue,
requested that a line fence removed from between his and his neighbor's property
during the construction of trunk line sewer system be replaced at an early date,
as he is desirous of making improvements necessitating the replacement of said
fence. By general consent this matter was referred to the City Eagiheer.
Moved by Trustee Love, seconded by Trustee Gerow, that the Street Superin-
tendent be and he is hereby authorized and instructed, until the further order
of this Board, to sprinkle the baseball grounds on Monday of each week. Carried
by the following vote:
Ayes: Trustees Gerow, Krimmel, Love and Binder.
Noes: None.
Absent: Trustee Fannon.
