The City Clerk requested the Board to express its views respecting the
widening of Yariposa Avenue between 1a.in Street and the V%esterly line of the Fisher
Subdivision, for the reason that various persons are dubious as to the use of
their property fronting on I'ariposa Avenue, fearing that in the near future the
City would widen the street by acquiring portions of the frontages on both sides
of said street between said points. After discussing the matter, it was the
unanimous opinion of the Board that said street between s---id points would not
need to be widened for a number of years and that when the widening becomes
necesssry, such width may be acquired by converting the present parkings between
existing curbs and existing outside sidewalk lines to roadway purposes.
