An adjourned regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of E1
Seo ndo, California, was called to order at 4:40 o'clock P. ?::. on the above date,
in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City by Peter E. Binder,
President,of the Board.

Trustees Present: Anderson, Cannon, Gerow, Love and Birder.
Trustees Absent: Eone.
coved by Trustee Gerow, seconded by rustee Love, that the regular order
of business be dis_oonsed with. Carried.
Pacific Telephone & Telegraph Company filed written application to erect
one 35 fte pole on the South side of 'rand Avenue between ;ihiting Street and the
Alley west. thereof, and three 35 ft. poles and one anchor on the :,est side of
the Alley Test of Ihttinb Street, South of Grand Avenue. By general consent this
apnlication -as referred to the Street superintendent for investigation and
reoort at the next regular meeting of the Board.
Moved by Trustee Gerow, seconded by Trustee Cannon, that the City Clerk
be and he is hereby authorized to purchase wild flower seed for use in parkings
throughout the City, at a cost not to exceed 9100.00. Carried by the following
vote:
Ayes: Trustees Anderson, Cannon, Gerow, Love and Binder.
Noes: None.
Absent: None.
The Board then gave consideration to the bids received for the improvement
of -rand Avenue within the City of M Segundo, also for the improvement of that
certain Lateral Seweragge District No. 1 within said City, which said bids were
received December 26th, 1925, and taken under advisement until this meeting.
Following discussion and consideration, it was moved by Trustee Gerow, seconded by
Trustee Anderson, that Resolution No. 122, entitled:

Moved by Trustee Gerow, seconded by Trustee Cannon, that the following
resolution be adopted:
rTi'� S, on the 23rd day of October, 1925, this Board
of Trustees passed a resolution allowing J. E. Gibbs the sum
of 91.00 per day for such days as he actikally used his personal
automobile in connection with the requirements of his employ-
ment by the City of E1 Segundo; and
':,'I-H' 1S, said J. E. Gibbs has disposed of his automobile;
and

Department of the City of El Segundo remains a necessity, and
A. 117. Robertson, another employee of said Engineering Department
is willing to supply an automobile at the same compensation
heretofore allowed the said J. 3. Gibbs;
