The Superintendent of the rater Department advised that he is unable to locate
any record of any easement ever having been granted to the City of E1 Segundo, to
lay and maintain pipe lines upon any portion of Lot 9, Block 98, M Segundo, in
order to provide water service for the dwelling houses located on that private right -
of -way commonly referred to as Concord Place. Inasmuch as the Board of Trustees
heretofore authorized the laying of a pipe line in said roadway if and when it was
determined the City was in possession of an easement for such purposes, and inasmuch
as it is desirable to lay said pipe line at the earliest opportunity, the City
Engineer was instructed to deliver to the City Attorney a description of said
private right -of -way so the City Attorney might prepare a satisfactory easement to
be executed by the property owners and delivered to the City.
