1926 AUG 20 CC MINQ 28114 El Segundo, Cal. Aug. 20th, 1926. At the hour of 7 :00 o'clock P. W. on the above date, in the Council Chamber of the City Hall in the City of El Segundo, California, said time and place being the time and place for the holding of regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of said City, Trustee Love was the only person present. Trustee Love gaited at the Council Chamber for a period of fifteen minutes, and no other member of the Board of Trustees appearing, he thereupon announced that the meeting stood adjourned until the hour of 7 :30 o'clock P. An adjourned regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of E1 Segundo, California, was called to order at 7 :30 o'clock P. M. on the above date, in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City, by Peter E. Binder, President of the Board. ROLL CALL. Trustees Present: Cannon, Gerow, Krimmel, Love and Binder. Trustees Absent: None. READING OF VIEUTES OF PRETIOUS ='TING. The minutes of the regular meeting held on the 13th day of August, 1926, were read. No errors or omissions appearing, they were approved as read, upon motion of Trustee Love, seconded by Trustee Cannon, which carried. 77RITTEN COL'"E'UNICATIOYS. The following communications were read and disposed of as indicated: EL SEGUNDO CHAMBER OF C(1111 RCE, dated August 23rd, 1926, submitting a petition and other data in opposition to the creation by ordinance of a cemetery zone or the establishment of a cemetery within the City of El Segundo. LEROY H. MOTH, dated August 21st, 1926, a letter of protest against the establishment of a cemetery at the proposed location within the City of E1 Segundo. INTERCITY LAND C012ANY, dated August 21st, 1926; protesting the granting of a permit for the establishment of a cemetery within the City of E1 Segundo. Following statements by different members of the Board that a request for the passage of an ordinance creating a cemetery zone within the City of E1 Segundo had been filed with the Board of Trustees by promoters of the enterprise at the request of this Board of Trustees for the purpose of giving the same publicity, thereby ascertaining the attitude of the public concerning the matter, it was moved by Trustee Krimmel, seconded by Trustee Cannon, that the following resolution be adopted: WHEREAS, on the 6th day of August, 1926, there was filed with this Board of Trustees by Ray E.
