An adjourned regular meeting of the Board of 'Trustees of the City of E1 Segundo,
California, was called to order at 5800 o'clock P. 1ie on the above date in the
Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City, by Peter E. Binder, President of
the Board.

Trustees Present, Anderson, Cannon, Gerow, Love and Binder.
Trustees Absents None.
Roved by Trustee Cannon, seconded by Trustee Gerow, that the regular order of
business be dispensed with. Carried.
Moved by Trustee Love, seconded by Trustee Anderson, that Ordinance No. 120,

OF EL S=NDO, CALIFORNIA, AS ORDERED BY ORDINANCE NO.
113 OF SAID CITY,
which was introduced and read at a regular meeting of this Board of Trustees held
on the 4th day of September, 19259 and reread at this meeting, be adopted. Carried
by the following votes
Ayes: Trustees Anderson, Cannon, Gerow, Love and Binder.

Absents None.
Moved by Trustee Love, seconded by Trustee Gerow, that the following
resolution be adopted:
S, Mr. John Voigt, Syracuse, New York, has offered to
sell to the City of E1 Segundo, Lot 6 in Block 34, El Segundo,
for the sum of 4800900 net cash to him;
AND 11MEEREEAS, said lot is the only lot in said Block 34,
the municipal reservoir site which is not owned by the City
of E1 Segundo;
AND WHEREAS, this Board of Trustees deems it advisable that
the City own the said lot and thereby control the entire
block for municipal water works purposes;
NOVI THERIEPORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Clerk of the
City of El Segundo be and he is hereby authorized and instructed
to open an escrow with any reputable bank or title company of
Los Angeles. County, California, for the purchase of said lot
for the sum of 4800.00 cash, the City of :•l Segundo to pay in
addition the charge for the escrow, the cost of Guarantee of
Title, showing title to said property vested free and clear of
encumbrance in the City of SI Segundo, a municipal corporation
of Los Angeles County, California, new owner fee and its pro -
rata share of taxes for the fiscal year 1925 -1926, the total
expense not to exceed 445.000
