A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of El Segundo,
California, was called to order at 7 :00 o'clock P. M. on the above date, in the
Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City by Peter Be Binder, President of the
Board.
ROLL CALL.
Trustees Present: Anderson, Cannon, Gerow, Love and Binder.
Trustees Absent: None.
READING OF MINUTES OF PREEVIOUS HE^3TINGS.
The minutes of the regular meeting held on the 13th day of November, 1925,
were read. No errors or omissions appearing, it was moved by Trustee Cannon,
seconded bar Trustee Love, and carried, that the minutes be approved as read.
The minutes of the adjourned regular meeting held on the 17th day of
November, 1925, were read without error or omission being noted, and were approved
as read upon motion by Trustee Gerow, seconded by Trustee Cannon, which carried.

the following comrmnications were read and disposed of as indicated:
COUNTY HEALTH OFFICER, being a report of his activities within the City
of E1 Segundo for the month of October, 1925. Ordered filed.
CHESTER L. COFFIN, Secretary - Treasurer of a Committee opposing Gas Rate
Increase, urging that this City subscribe to the fund being raised to finance
the said Committee in its activities. Ordered filed.

The Building Inspectoe advised that repairs to the Pease -Sloat dwelling,
made necessary by the removal of said building owing to the opening of Sycamore
Avenue, are about complete, and that repairs to the J. R. Black dwelling are
progressing nicely, although there is considerable work yet to be done in
connection with the latter building. He advised that he had been unable to get
in touch with Mr. 2. V. Miller, the contractor who agreed to do the work, hence it
was necessary for him to arrange for its completion.
UNFINISE�D BUSINESS.
Trustee Love introduced Ordinance No. 121, entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF 1B CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA,
DxLARING VACANT FOR PUBLIC STREET PURPOSES A
CERTAIN PORTION OF PORT AVENUE WITHIN SAID CITY,
AS CONT2.1PLATM BY RESOLUTION OF INTENTION 1-10.

NM BUSINESS.
Moved by Trustee Love, seconded by Trustee Cannon and unanimously carried,
that John Alexander be granted permission to borrow from the City of El Segundo
on the 22nd inst., 14 collapsible chairs and 14 each of knives, forks and spoons.
Moved by Trustee Cannon, seconded by Trustee Gerow, that R. T. Hutchins,
be and he is hereby granted permission to absent himself from the City from
November 26th to 29th, 1925, inclusive. Carried.
No further business appearing to be transacted at this meeting, it was
moved by Trustee Gerow, seconded by Trustee Love, that the meeting adjourn.
Carried.
