A regular meeting of the 3oard of '2 rustees of the City of ::l Segundo,
California, was called to order at 7 :00 o'clock P. Y. on the above date, in the
Council Chamber of the City 'call of said City by Peter L'. Binder, President of
the Board.

The minutes of the regular meeting held on the 5th day of June, 1925,
were read. No errors or omissions appearing, it was moved by Trustee Cannon,
seconded by Trustee Gerow, that the minutes be approved as read. Carried.
The minutes of the adjourned regular meeting held June 9th, 1925,
were read without error or omission being noted and were approved as read
upon motion of Trustee Gerow, seconded by Trustee Cannon, which carried.

1rs. C. G. L:iller _.ddre,sed the 3oard relative tc the anount a-rarded her
for ar. easement for sewer purposes over a portion of Lot 7, 3loek 11, Tract
1685, which she deemed insufficient, particularly, in view of the fact that
the sewer would be above the ground for a distance of approximately 175 feet
on her premises. This being a matter of which the Board was not previously
aware, by general consent it agree.: to meet on :;u -ndLi- mornin;_- at 9:09 o'clock
to view the situation, and advised 1 -rs. l:iller� that w thorough investi-
gation would be made and she vrould be advised at a later date of its findings
and decision in the matter.
1;r. Janes - nderson, interested with Wr. David 1 :cZinley in the ownership
of a portion of Lot 1, 3i:>ck 6, Tract 1685, across which the City of �;l Cefi:ndo
is desirous of procuring sewer tunnel easement, advised the 3oard that he did
not care to sign the fora of waiver sent hi^ for execution unless the sane is
modified. The form was then read to the Board and its purport explained by the
City 'attorney, following which it was moved by* Trustee Gerow, seconded by Trustee
Cannon that the City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized and instructed to
prepare new sewer tunnel easement deeds and waivers. Carried by the following
vote:
Ayes- Trustees Anderson, Cannon, Gerow and 3inder.

1:r. Tom Hall made inquiry as to the reason for the city erecting stakes
on a portion of his property, Lot 1, Block 13, Tract 1685. The City Zriineer
advised that these stakes were set for the purpose of making a topographic
survey of the North half of this acre and adjacent land, and that the stakes
may rovr be removed.

he City :Irigineer reported that he was present with the City Attorney at
a conference had with 1 1.r. Mc-Fadden and with '-r. Knowlton of the City attorney's
office and the Oity - engineer's Office respectively of the City of Los 1"ngeles,
and that these officials had been made to see the unreasonableness of requiring
the City of -=1 1eeando to -- intain a sewer pumping station in the eastern, part
of the City of ::1 Segundo for the benefit of a small portion of the City of
Los Angeles before the City of -:1 Segundo required such pumping station, or
after it had provided a means for the discontinuance of its use if ever it is
nut into operation. Mr. .Sills then reported that all other details of the
proposed contract had apparently been satisfactorily agreed upon, and that
the City attorney's office of the City of Los Angeles will immediately prepare
a new contract, v.,hich will be delivered to this City on 'Wednesday of next week.
The City Clerk reported that 1:r. J. :.. Stalker and 7-' - -r. Claire P. ;;right
had left with him deeds to certain portions of Lot 1, 3lock 92, rl Segundo,
granting to the City a 50 foot street Northerly and Southerly along the Westerly
line of said lot for public street purposes, which they had instructed the
Clerk to deliver to the City of ::l Segundo, provided the City would agree to
grade and oil a roadway through the property granted. It appearing that acceptance
of these deeds would be advantageous to the City of El Segundo, it was moved
by Trustee Cannon, seconded by Trustee Gerow, that the following resolution be
adopted:

Trustees of the City of El Segundo passed a Resolution
indicating its desire to sell a piece of property 38 x
65 feet in dimension, owned by said City on '?aple Avenue
between Chin Street and Virginia Street, because of no
apparent need of said property by said City;

him of a good and sufficient deed conveying title to the

1926, and excepting also conditions, restrictions and
reservations of record, if any, together with Certificate
