:l Segundo, Cal. June 3rd, 1925.
At the hour of 4 :40 o'clock P. M. on the above date, in the Council
Chamber of the City Fall in the City of 41 Segundo, California, said time
being the time heretofore set for the holding of an adjourned regular meeting
of the Board of Trustees of said City, and said place being the regular
place for holding official meetings of said Board, the City Clerk was the
only person present. The Clerk waited at the Council Chamber for a period
of fifteen minutes, and no member of the Board of Trustees appearing, the Clerk
thereupon announced that the meeting stood adjourned until the hour of 7s30
o'clock P. E:. June 4th, 1925.

An adjourned regular meeting of the board of Trustees of the City of ::1
Segundo, California, was called to order at 7 :X o'clock P. 1% on the above
date in the Council Char-ber of the City Hall of said City by Peter Z. Binder,
?resident of the Board.
ROLL CALL.
Trustees Present: Cannon, Gerow and Binder.
Trustees Absent: Anderson and Love.
Moved by Trustee Cannon, seconded by TruJtee Gerow, that the regular order
of business be dispensed with. Carried.
The City Attornew* then presented and reed to the Board a proposed fora of
agreement betr.•een the City of Los Angeles and the Cite of ::l Segundo, which for
the purposes of identification was designated as Contract No. 101 and filed with
the City Clerk as a !muriCipal record immediately after the same had been read.
After discussion, during which, in reply to a query of the City Attorney,
I'r. A. H. Koebig, Jr. of the Firm of Koebig & Koebig, Consulting Engineers,
stated that the contract v,--s fair and a good one for the City of —E1 Segundo,
it was moved by 'Trustee Gerow, seconded by Trustee Cannon, that the City of
:l Segundo, California, enter into that certair. "Agreement between the City of
Los Angeles and the City of ::1 Segundo ", read to the Board this date, and heretofore
designated as Contract i +o. 101 and filed. with the City Cleric as a mur�ipal
record for identification, and that the resident of the Board of Trustees of
said City of El Segundo be and he is hereby luthorized to sign said contract
on behalf of the said City of 1 SeL,^undo and the City Clerk is hereby authorized
and instructed to attest the same and affix the City's seal thereto.
Carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Trustees Cannon, Gerow and :3inder.

Absent: Trustees Anderson and Love.

At this point,the/8 :40 o'clock P. ui. the President declared a recess of
five minutes. At the hour of 8:45 o'cloc- ?. Y. the Chair again called the
meeting to order, Trustees Cannon, Gerow and Binder answering roll call „ Trustees
Anderson and Love being absent.
Various ratters, including the method of relieving the re ular `_'ire engine
driver, the payment of claims for promotion purposes and e- meroency assistance to
indigents were discussed at considerable length without definite action being
taken upon any of the matters, following which it was moved by 'Trustee Gerow,
seconded by Trustee Cannon, that the meeting adjourn. Carried.
