An adjourned regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of E1
Segundo, California, was called to order at 5 :00 o'clock P. Y. on the above date
in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City by Peter E. Binder,
President of the Board.
'ROLL CALL.
Trustees Present: �xderson, Cannon, Gerow, Love and Binder.
Trustees absent: None.
I'loved by Trustee Love, seconded by Trustee Cannon, that the regular order
of business be dispensed with. Carried.
Consideration was then given to the bids received December 26th, 1925,
for doing the work of grading and _ oaving of a certain portion of Grand Avenue,
and for the furnishing of all labor and material necessary to construct a sanitary
sewer system in Lateral Sewerage District Ido. 1 within the City of El jegundo.
_�t the termination of the discussion, no definite decision having been reached,
it was moved by Trustee Gerow, seconded by Trustee Anderson, that when this
meeting adjourns, it adjourn until i:onday, the 4th day of Janu:.ry, 1926, at the
hour of 4:40 o'clock P. 11. and that all of the said bids for the work hereinbefore
mentioned, be taken under advisement until said meeting. Carried.
The Standard Oil Company's Employees' 1?ortuary Fund 'having made application
to use the Council Chamber of the City Nall on the evening of January 5th, 1926,
for the purpose of holding its arms, -.l meeting, it was moved by Trustee Love,
seconded by Trustee Anderson, that this permission be granted, no charge to be
made for the same. Carried.
It appearing that the ' "uni.cipal Park at the 1eservoir Site has been improved
to the point where the planting of trees and shrubs is now de_:irable and it
appearing also that the trees and shrubs hereinafter mentioned are suitable for
planting in said park, it was moved by Trustee Cannon, seconded by Trustee

i0xertise in the manner provided by law, for bids upon the quantity and specie
of plant or plants, as follows, to -wit:

be and he is hereby authorized and instructed to advertise for bids, in the manner
provided by law, for one meter to be of the Venturi Tube Type; diamter of pipe 10
inches, and diamter of throat 5 inches, with a measuring capacity of 111,000 to
2,220,000 gallons per 24 hours, equipped with indicating dial, 24 hour recording chart,
and totalizing mechanism graduated in gallons.

one belt slacker a_n,"L stand for same for use in connection with the sewer sy--tem
of the City of L'1 Segundo, be and the same is hereby authorized at a cost not to
exceed N95.00. Carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Trustees Anderson, Cannon, Gero., Love and Binder.

moved by Trustee Love, seconded by Trustee Anderson, that the meeting adjourn
until 7.7onday, the 4th day of January, 1926, at the hour of 4:40 o'clock P. 111.

At the hour of 11:30 o'clock A. 111. on the above date, said hour being the
usual time for the holding of regular meetings of the Board of Trustees on
Saturdays following a legal holiday, the City Clerk was the only person present
in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City *. The Clerk waited at the
Council Chamber until the hour of 11:45 o'clock A. M. and no member of the Board of
Trustees appearing, the Clerk thereupon announced that the meeting stood ajourned
until the hour of 4:40 o'clock P. M., Mondz;,7, the 4th day of January, 1926.
