READING OF MINUTES
Minutes of the previous regular meeting held August 21, 1925 were read.
No errors or Omissions appearing, it was moved by Trustee Cana on, seconded by
mmiatwe aerow. that said minutes be approved as read.

Following communications read and disposed of as indioateds
From the Health Officer of Les Angeles County, being a report of the
services rendered the City of E1 Segundo during the month of July in connection
with Health and Sanitation work. Order filed.
From the California State Board of Health, announcing the holding of
the annual convention at Long Beach, September 28 to October 39 19259 and
requesting the Board of Trustees to provide for the attendance of its Health
Officer. Ordered filed..

The City Attorney reported that he had received informtion from the
printers of the sewer bonds that said bonds were printed and ready for delivery.
He reported also that the consulting bond attorneys, O'Melveny, Millikea, Tuller
& Maonsil, had reeosmseaded btat the bonds be not delivered until the expiration;
of thirty days following the passage of the ordinance fixing the rate of interest.
The City Attorney reported that the sewer contract between the City of
81 Segundo and R.A.wattson had been prepared, and the said document was then
read and discussed by the Board of Trustees, the Contractor, and the Engineers
for the City of E1 Segundo. Following its modification in several miner particu-
lars, it was moved by Trustee Love, seconded by Trustee Cannon, that the contract
for the construction of a trunk line sower system and appurtenances for the City
of E1 Segundo, as read to this Board of Trustees this date by the City Attorney
be and the same is hereby approved, and that upon reoe*pt of surety bonds as
provided by law, the President of the Board of Trustees of the City of El Segundo
is hereby authorized and instructed to execute the same on behalf of the City of
E1 Segundo, on the conditions and at the prices therein stated, and that the
City Clerk be and he is hereby instructed to attest the same and to return the
check deposited by said contractor with his bide Carried by the following votes

Hight of Way Agent Dale reported meeting with success in interviewing
property owners with respect to the formation of sewer districts Nos. 1 and 29
and that he has progressed far enough to learn that the same will meet with no
opposition. He expected to be able to complete this work and file the petitioas
with the Board one week from this date.
Mr.Dale also reported that the property owners are favorable to the Im-
provement of Grand Avenue between Main Street and Concord Street, and that nine
out of eleven property owners interviewed with respect to the installation of
electroliere on Richmond Street from Grand Avenue to E1 Segundo Avenue are favor.

Moved by Trustee Cannon, seconded by Trustee Gerow that the City Clerk
be and he is hereby authorized and instructed to purchase a siren for the City
of El Segundo to be used upon the private automobile of the Night Watchman, while
the said private automobile is used by said officer in the discharge of his of-
ficial duties for the City of E1 Segundo, the cost of said siren not to ezosed
X45.00. Carried by the fo lowing votes

No further business appearing to be transacted at this session, it was
moved by Trustee Cannon, seconded by Trustee Gerow, that the meeting adjourn
