Me on the above date in the Council Chamberot the City Hall of said City by Peter E. Binder, President of the Board. ROLL CALL. Trustees Present: Anderson, Cannon, Gerow, Love and Binder. Trustees Absent: None. READING OF r INUTES OF PRUEVIOUS V ETINGS. The minutes of the regular meeting held on the 27th day of March, 1925, were read without error or omission appearing, and it was moved by Trustee Love, seconded by Trustee Cannon, that the minutes be approved as read. Carried. The minutes of the adjourned regular meeting held April 1st, 1925 were read. No errors or omissions appearing, it was moved by Trustee Cannon, seconded by Trustee Anderson and carried, that the minutes be approved as read. WRITTEN CO1WUJXICATIONS. Koebig, Jr., of the firm of Koebig & Koebig, Consulting Engineers, with reference to the sewer agreement proposed to be entered into between the City of El Segundo and the City of Los Angeles, and that he will have prepared, within the next ten days, an agreement which he believes will be satisfactory to both cities. UNFINISIM BUSINESS. Moved by Trustee Gerow, seconded by Trustee Cannon, that the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized and instructed to prepare all of the maps and other engineering data necessary to take legal steps to open Mariposa Avenue from Arizona Drive to the 3asterly City Limits to a width of 80 feet and to furnish the same to the City attorney for his use in the preparation of the necessary legal procedure. The Building Inspector announced that the Paster of the First Methodist Church had requested permission to maintain,temporarily, a tent structure on private property North of the Church in order to provide space for Sunday School classes. Moved by Trustee Love, seconded by Trustee Anderson that permission for such a temporary structure be granted. Carried. The City Engineer presented to the Board a list of the property over which it will be necessary to procure rights -of -way for the proposed sewer trunk lines, excepting the property required in Blocks 7, 8, 11 and 12, Tract 1685, the property affected in these blocks being now determined by field surveys. The letter was ordered filed for future consideration. The City Engineer then suggested that inasmuch as right -of -way will be required over a portion of Lot 1 in Block 92, that the right -of -way agent might be instructed to endeavor to secure deeds to sufficient property in said Lot 1, Also Lot 8, Block 92, to provide for the opening of a public street to be known as Penn Street and which would provide an extension of Penn Street from Palm Avenue to Maple Avenue. On motion of Trustee Cannon, seconded by Trustee Gerow, which was carried unanimously, the right -of -way agent was instructed to procure the deeds necessary for the opening of Penn Street through a portion of Block 92. No further business appearing to be transacted at this meeting, it was moved by Trustee Cannon, seconded by Trustee Gerow, that the meeting adjourn, Carried.
