An adjourned regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of E1
Segundo, California, was called to order at 11:30 o'clock A. M. on the above date in
the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City by the City Clerkq
Trustee Binder was unanimously chosen President pro -tem and
he immediately assumed the duties of the President.
ROLL CALL.
Trustees Present: Binder, Rueger and Smiley.
Trustees Absent: Gerow.
Moved by Trustee Rueger, seconded by Trustee Smiley, that the regular order
of business be dispensed with. Carried.
The City Clerk advised the Board that a change had been made in the specifi-
cations for the construction of an oil tank for the Street Department, the purchase of
which was authorized by the Board of Trustees at a regular meeting of said Board held
January 28th, 1924, and that owing to said change the cost of the tank was $78.00
instead of $67.00 as allowed by the Board for the work. It was thereupon moved by
Trustee Rueger, seconded by Trustee Smiley, that the purchase of an oil tank for use
of the Street Department at a cost of 478.00 be and the same.is hereby approved.
Carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Trustees Binder, Rueger and Smiley.
Noes: None.
Absent: Trustee Gerow.
The following demands, having had the approval of the Committee on Finance
and Records, were read:
Moved by Trustee Smiley, seconded by Trustee Rueger, that the demands be
allowed and warrants drawn on the respective funds for the same. Carried by the
following vote:
