An adjourned'regular meeting of -the Board of Trustees of the
City'of El Segundo, California, was-called to order at 11:30 o'clock
A. M. on the above date iii the Council Chamber of the City Hall
of said City by William C. Bryson, President of the Board.
ROLL CALL.
Trustees Present: Rueger, Smiley and Bryson.
Trustees Absent: Binder and Davis.

Moved by Trustee Smiley, seconded by Trustee Rueger, that the
demands be allowed and warrants drawn on the General Fund for the
same. Carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Trustees Rueger, Smiley and Bryson.
Noes: None.
Absent: Trustees Binder and Davis.
The Clerk advised that an incinerator for burning trash should
be provided for the use of the janitor, whereupon it was moved by
Trustee Rueger, seconded by Trustee Smiley, that a galvanized wire
incinerator be purchased for use at the City Hall at a cost not to
exceed $5.00. Carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Trustees Rueger, Smiley and Bryson.
Noes: None.
Absent: Trustees Binder and Davis.
The City Clergy advised that the Street Superintendent had asked
that the Board take action permitting Mr. C. T. Ainsworth, Roller
Engineer to-begin his annual vacation of two weeks on Monday, the 18th
day of June, 1923. Moved by Trustee Rueger, seconded by Trustee Smiley
that this permission be granted. Carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Trustees Rueger, Smiley and Bryson.
Noes: None.
Absent: Trustees Binder and Davis.
No further business appearing to be transacted at this meeting,
it was moved by'Trustee Smiley, seconded by Trustee Rueger, that the
meeting adjourn. Carried.
