upon motion of Trustee Binder, seconded by Trustee hueger, which carried.

.r. George L. Stephens addressed the Board with reference to
the condition of Eucalyptus Drive from Mariposa Avenue to Grand
Avenue, urging that some action tovrards its repair be taken. Following
discussion it was moved by Trustee Rueger, seconded by Trustee Binder,
that the Street Superintendent be and he is hereby instructed to
submit to the Board at its ne..t regular meeting, estimates of the cost
of im-, -)roving Eucalyptus Drive from Mariposa Avenue to Pine Avenue and
Fine Avenue from Eucalyptus Drive to lZain Street, as follows: First -
by the construction of the usual macadam veneer improvement; second -
to scarify, oil and roll. Carried.

Trustee Davis of the "Public Safety Committee filed a Yrritten
re_,ort of his investigation of the condition of the fire engine, which
was read to the Doard and ordered filed with the Clerk.
It appearing from said report that repairs to the fire engine
should be made forthwith, it was noved by Trustee Puer-er, seconded by
Trustee Tinder, that the City Clerk be and he is hereby authorized to
h.ve made such repai_s as are immediately necessary on the fire engine
e,t a cos' not to e: -teed <> 1145.00, whenever the American-La-France fire
Ln�i ne Cor?-oa,ny is able to furnish suitable apparatus for the use of
the "ityr of El Segundo during the time that such repairs are being made.

Fitzgerald. Roved by Trustee Iueger, seconded by Trustee Binder,
that the sketch of the floorplan of the building in which S. D. Fitz-
gerald will conduct a pool and billiard room, for which a, pe3-•mit was
heretofore granted by this Doard, be and the same is hereby ap_.roved
