1923 AUG 16 CC MINE1 Segundo, Cal. Aug. 16, 1923. An adjourned regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of E1 Segundo, California, was called to order at 11 :00 o'clock A. M. on the above date in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City, by William C. Bryson, President of the Board.. - ROLL CALL. Trustees Present: Gerow, Rueger, Smiley and Bryson. Trustees Absent: Binder. Moved by Trustee Smiley, seconded by Trustee Gerow, that the regular order of business be dispensed with. Carried. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees Gerow, Rueger, Smiley and Bryson. Noes: None: Absent: Trustee Binder, Mr. Clifford, representing the California Willits Road Construction Company extended to the Board of Trustees, the City Clerk, the City Engineer, the Street Superintendent and any other city official desiring to participate, a formal invitation to accompany them on a tour of inspection of roads in Los Angeles, Riverside, San Diego and Imperial Counties, which have been improved with Willite paving and which have given satisfaction in varying kinds of traffic and climatic conditions. The Board approved such a plan, but deferred action until the entire membership of the Board is present. No further business appearing to be transacted at this meeting, it was moved by Trustee Smiley, seconded by Trustee Rueger, that the meeting adjourn.
