PMUMOY, County Health Officer, requesting endorse- ment of Assembly Bills Nos. 204 and 556, which provide for the establish- ment of Health Centers and enables Boards of Supervisors to make contracts with school districts for the services of a nurse or physician. Moved by Trustee Smiley, seconded by Trustee Binder, that the following resolution be adopt-ea: "RESOLILD, that this Board of Trustees hereby endorses and urges the adoption of Assembly Bills .dos. 204 and 556, and BE IT FURTHM, ;SOLVED, that the City Clerk be instructed to notify the Senator and Assemblyman from this District and the County Health Officer of the action of this Board ". UNFINISHED BUSINESS. > The City Engineer presented for the Board's approval a profile of Bonita Vista Avenue from Palm Avenue to Collingwood Street. Pending a visual survey of the street by the Board, no action was taken. Trustee Rueger stated that he thought minor repairs to the Streets should be made where necessary before conditions which are now bad become worse and more expensive to repair, instead of prosecuting so much new work to the exclusion of all repair wor .&. The Public 17orks Committee agreed to follow the idea, which appeared to be the general concensus of the Board. 2AYING BILLS. The Clerk advised the Board of the expiration of fire insurance policies on the City Hall Building and on the fire engine; also that Mr. E. 0. Lewis had presented policies aggregating 46333.00 fire insurance on the City Hall. Moved by Trustee Smiley, seconded by Trustee Bryson, that the following Resolution be adopted: ' SOLVED, Policy No. 3013, dated of New York Policy No. Hall of the City of E1 respectively, each for hereby accepted, and that Aetna Insurance Company of Hartford, Conn. Marah 14th, 1921, and the Home Insurance Company 1263, dated !larch 15th, 1921, covering the City Segundo in the sum of *3333.00 and 03000.00 a period of three years, be and the same are BE IT FURTHER RESOL7ED, that additional insurance in the sum of 43667.00 on the said City Hall building be awarded to W. E. Iorgan, same to be written for a period of three years, and that the same agent be awarded a policy of 43000.00 to cover the fire engine of the City of L1 Segundo for a period of one year ". Carried. The Clerk announced that iir. L. A. Borden had applied for permission to break the sidewalk and curb in front of his premises at-No. 311 Franklin Avenue, for the purpose of constructing an approach to his garage. Discussion arose over the ap.)licatioh, it being pointed out that cuts and inclines through sidewalks are dangerous and it was decided that the matter be given consideration pending receipt of written application from Lir.
