A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of it
Segundo was called to order at 7;30 o'clock P. K. on the above date
in the Council Chamber, of the City Hall b7.7 Carl B. Rueger, President
of the Board.
ROLL CALL.
Trustees Present: Binder, Bryson, Davis and Rueger.
Trustees Absent Smiley.
h;oved by Trustee Bryson, seconded by Trustee Davis, that the
regular order of business be dispensed with. Carried.
The following demands, having had the approval of the Committee
on Finance and Records, were read:

Id'oved by Trustee Binder, seconded by Trustee Bryson, that the
demands be.allowed and warrants drawn on the ,General Fund for the same.
Carried by the following vote:
Ayes :, Trustees Binder, Bryson, Davis and Rueger.
Noes: None.
Absent: Trustee Smiley.
Moved by Trustee Davis, seconded by Trustee Bryson, that the City
Clerk be and he is hereby authorized and instructed to have glass in the
entrance way to the Auditorium, which was broken, replaced at a cost
not to exceed $15.00. Carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Trustees Binder, Bryson, Davis and Rueger.
Noes: None.
Absent: Trustee Smiley.
Moved by Trustee Davis, seconded by Trustee Bryson, that F. K.
Middleton be and*he is hereby appointed Relief Fire Engine Driver of the
City of E1 Segundo, said appointment to date from the 3rd day of March,
1921. He shall receive as compensation in full for all services
rendered as such Relief Fire Engine Driver the sum of c"10.00 per month,
payable monthly as other city salaries are paid, until the further
order of this Board. Carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Trustees Binder, Bryson, Davis and Rueger.
Noes: None.
Absent: Trustee Smiley.
Trustee Rueger drew the Llarshal's attention to the fact that minors
are driving motor vehicles around the City and violating traffic laws by
speeding.
No further businesE appearing to be transacted at this meeting, it
was moved by Trustee Bryson, seconded by Trustee Davis, that the meeting
adjourn. Carried.
