A special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of El
Segundo, California, was called to order at 4 :00 o'clock _'. U. on
the above date in the Council Chamber of the City Hall, pursuant
to call of the President, and notice duly given each 'trustee as
provided by law, President Rueger presiding.
ROLL CALL.
Trustees Present: Davis, Smiley and Rueger.
Trustees Absent: Binder and Bryson.
Moved by Trustee Smiley, seconded by Trustee Davis, that the
regular order of business be dispensed with. Carried.
A letter from L. V. LLatthews, house moving a ontructor, requesting
permission to move a one story building out of the City of El
Segundo via Sheldon Street and El Segundo Avenue was read by the
Clerk and it was moved by Trustee Smiley, seconded by 'Trustee Davis,
that the permit be granted, provided said building is moved between
the hours of 1 :00 A. U. and 5:00 A. U., July 13th, 1921, and that
the contractor takes due precaution to direct and safeguard traffic
during the time that the said building is on the public streets
of the Uity of E1 Segundo. Carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Trustees Davis, Smiley and Rueger.
Noes: None.
Absent: Binder and Bryson.
No further business appearing to be transacted at this meeting,
it-was moved by Trustee Smiley, seconded by Trustee Davis, that
the meeting adjourn. Carried.
