An adjourned
Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of E1 Segundo
was called to order at 11 :45 o'clock a. m. on the above date, in the
Council Chamber of the City Hall, by Sydney R. lalartin, president of the
Board.
ROM, CALL.
Trustees present: Bryson, Mork, and ,Martin.
Trustees absent: Smiley and Ward.
Moved by Trustee Bryson, seconded by Trustee Work, that the regular
order of business be dispensed with. Carried.
Moved by Trustee Bryson, seconded by Trustee Work, that the City
Clerk be instructed to order a bulletin board, size 3 ft. by 4 ft., to
be erected near the Standard Oil Company's main gate, at a cost not to
exceed $10.00. Carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Trustees Bryson, Work, and Martin.
Noes: None.
Absent: Trustees Smiley and Ward.
The City Clerk was instructed to write the Liberty Loan Committee
with reference to :.1 Segundo being awarded a cannon in recognition of
the record made in the subscriptions to the various Liberty Loans.
Trustee Smiley appeared at this ti ^ie, and took his seat, the hour
being 11:55 A. L.
