At the hour of 7 :30 o'clock P. M. on the above date, in the
Council Chamber of the City Hall in the City of E1 Segundo, said time
and place being the regular time and place for holding regular meet-
ings of the Board of Trustees of said City, the City Clerk call the
roll. Trustees Bryson and Smiley responded as present; Trustees hard,
Work and Martin being absent.
It appearing that a quorum was not present, Trustees Bryson and
Smiley,-together with the City Clerk waited until the hour of 7:46
o'clock P. M., said date, at which said time, no other Trustees appear-
ing, it was moved by Trustee Smiley, seconded by Trustee Bryson, that
the meeting adjourn until Monday, August 11th, 1919, at the hour of
7 :30 o'clook P. M. and that notice of the time of such adjournment
be given immediately in writing by the City Clerk to the absent mem-
bers of said Board. The City Clerk put the motion, which carried by
the unanimous vote of the members of the Board prevent.
