1918 JUN 24 CC MIN—'tine 24th, 1918.` A: adjournec regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of El Segundo was called t,o order at 12:OC o'clock noon on the above date, in the City Hall, by Carl Ernest Rueger, President of the Board. ROZZ CALL. Trustees present: Bryson, Coward, and Rueger. - Trustees absent: Martin and Ward. Yoveci by Trustee Cor.,ard, seconded by Trustee Bryson, that the regular order of business be dispensed with. Carried. The following demands on the City Hall Bond Interest and Redemption Fund, 1918, were then read, having had the approval of the Committee on Finance and Re.cords: Parmelee- Dohrmann Co. - 456.00 Yoved by Trustee Bryson, seconded bg Trustee Coward, that the demands be allowed and warrants for same drawn on the City Hall Bond Interest and Redemption Fund, 1918. Carried by the follo ring vote: Ayes: Trustees Bryson, Coward, and Rueger. Noes: None. Absent: Trustees Martin and Ward. The following demands on the. Taylor deputy marshal. l,:oved by Trustee Bryson, seconded by Trustee Ward, that the Marshal's appointment of T. T. Taylor as a deputy marshal be approved. Carried. The Clerk enumerated various articles necessary for the City Hall end it ryas moved by Trustee "Yard, seconded by Trustee Bryson, that the City Clerk be authorized to make the necessary purchases, at a sum not to exceed ;50.00. Carried by the following vote: Ayes:- Trustees Bryson, Coward, Ward, and Rueger. Noes: None. Absent: Trustee Lartin.
