Hall, by Carl Ernest Rueger, President of the Board.

A letter from the Pacific Coast Association of Fire Chiefs, request-
ing the attendance of the Fire Chief and a member of the Board of Trust-
ees, at a convention of the Association which will be held at Oakland,
California, September 17th to 20th, inclusive, was read. MoTed by Trustee
Yartin, seconded by Trustee Bryson, that the same be filed. Carried.

I:Ir. 0. E. Carr made verbal application for a permit to alter a one
story frame store building situated on the "hest sidd of Richmond Street
between El Segundo and Franklin .avenues. iloved by Trustee Bryson, second-

12:00 o'clock noon, on the 18th day of July, 1918, and that the consider-
ation of the application of 0. E. Carr be made a special order of business.
