Hello,
My name is Eric Tate and I live in an apartment on Indiana St. I would like to say that I do not support
the permitted parking program on my street, especially not allowing any non -permitted cars to be
on the street after 6pm. This is a pretty absurd rule for anyone having people over for a dinner or an
event. My apartment only gives us one sheltered parking spot, so we are already using our permits to
keep our own cars from getting ticketed, and even then, when one of the permits fell off the rearview,
we were immediately given a ticket on our own street.
This feels like an issue that will come up again and again, and anyone that hosts friends or family will
come up against this time and time again, especially if hosting on short notice. This rule may help
people in the area that have houses, but it is a huge obstacle for those of us in apartment living. Thank
