Vice Chair Fellhauer called the El Segundo Planning Commission meeting to CALL TO ORDER
order at 5:30 p.m. in the El Segundo City Hall's Council Chambers, 350 Main
Street, El Segundo, California.
Commissioner Baldino led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

Vice Chair Fellhauer presented Agenda Item 1-1, Environmental Assessment No. NEW BUSINESS —
EA-929 and Administrative Use Permit No. 11-07. Applicant: DPS Foodworks, PUBLIC HEARING for
LLC (dba: Jackson's Food and Drink) c/o Toni Reina. Address: 2041 Rosecrans EA-929 and AUP 11-07
Avenue, Suite 190. Property Owner: Continental Rosecrans, LLC — Alex J.
Rose.
Principal Planner Paul Samaras presented the staff report (of record.)
Scott Cooper, owner
Mr. Cooper gave a brief statement about the project and stated that he is
available to answer questions.
Mr. Baldino inquired about the style of restaurant.
Mr. Cooper stated that the restaurant is a new American bistro that will serve a
variety of cuisines and that it will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Commissioner Barbee moved, seconded by Commissioner Baldino to Receive MOTION
and File Environmental Assessment No. 929 and Administrative Use Permit No.
11-07. Approved (3-0).

Planning and Building Safety Director Carpenter informed the Commission that REPORT FROM
the August 11, 2011 meeting was cancelled and the next meeting would be on PLANNING AND
August 25, 2011. BUILDING SAFETY

Commissioner Baldino congratulated Chair Wagner on being reappointed to the PLANNING
Planning Commission. COMMISSIONERS

Vice Chair Fellhauer adjourned the meeting. Motion carried (3-0). OTHER BUSINESS
