J U LY 28, 2005
Chairman Funk called the meeting of the El Segundo Planning CALL TO ORDER
Commission to order at 7:01 p.m. in the Council Chamber of the City of El
Segundo City Hall, 350 Main Street, El Segundo, California.
Commissioner Fellhauer led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. PLEDGE TO FLAG
PRESENT: FELLHAUER, FRICK, FUNK, KRETZMER, WAGNER ROLL CALL
ABSENT: NONE
Commissioner Frick nominated Commissioner Kretzmer as the new ELECTION OF
Planning Commission Vice -Chairman. This nomination was seconded by VICE-CHAIRMAN
Commissioner Wagner. Without objection (5-0), Commissioner Kretzmer
was elected Vice -Chairman of the Planning Commission.
Vice -Chairman Kretzmer thanked the Commission for its vote.

Chairman Funk presented the Consent Calendar. CONSENT
CALENDAR
For administrative purposes, Chairman Funk asked that Agenda Item No. CALL ITEMS
E-2 be pulled from the Consent Calendar — Environmental Assessment FROM CONSENT
No. 671 and Administrative Use Permit No. 05-01. CALENDAR
Commissioner Wagner moved, seconded by Commissioner Frick, to MOTION
approve Consent Calendar Item No. 1, July 14, 2005, Minutes as
presented; and Item No. 3, Environmental Assessment No. 672 and
Administrative Use Permit No. 05-02, onsite sale and consumption of
alcohol (beer and wine only) at a new restaurant (Type 41 License).
Address: 422 Main Street. Applicants and Property Owners: Sylvie
Gabriele and Ali Mosavi Nejad. Motion carried 5-0.

Planning Manager Christensen added that the owner is not interested in
obtaining a CUP and providing additional parking and that the owner will
reduce this space, confining it with additional fencing and landscaping.
Vice -Chairman Kretzmer moved, seconded by Commissioner Fellhauer, MOTION
to receive and file Item No. 2. Motion carried 5-0.
