JANUARY 27, 2005
Chair Funk called the meeting of the El Segundo Planning Commission CALL TO ORDER
to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber of the City of El Segundo
City Hall, 350 Main Street, El Segundo, California.
Vice -Chair Carlson led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. PLEDGE TO FLAG
PRESENT: CARLSON, FRICK, FUNK, WAGNER ROLL CALL
ABSENT: KRETZMER

Vice -Chairman Carlson moved, seconded by Commissioner Frick, to MOTION
approve the December 9 and 15, 2004, Minutes as submitted. Passed December 9, 2004,

BUSINESS
Planning Manager Christensen welcomed everyone back from the REPORT FROM
holidays; and she wished them a happy new year. She noted that at DIRECTOR
this time, there are no items for the February 10, 2005, Planning
Commission meeting — pointing out that the Commission will be advised

within a couple days if the February 10t" meeting is adjourned; and
stated that staff anticipates having some items for the February 24, 2005
Planning Commission meeting. She noted that the Second Unit
Ordinance will be proceeding to City Council on February 1, 2005; and
that the Plaza El Segundo and Sepulveda/Rosecrans Site Rezoning
Project will be proceeding to City Council on February 15, 2005.

COMMUNICATIONS
Commissioner Frick reminded the pet owners of El Segundo of the PLANNING
vaccination clinic on February 22, 2005, noting that this is a great COMMISSIONERS'
opportunity to obtain low-cost vaccinations and renew or obtain licenses COMMENTS
for their pets.
Chairman Funk wished everyone a happy new year.
