CITY OF EL SEGUNDO
AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO SERVICES AGREEMENT NO. 7370
THIS AMENDMENT NO. 1 ("Amendment") to Services Agreement No. 7370 (the
"Agreement") is entered into by and between the CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, a municipal
corporation ("City"), and FIRE RECOVERY USA, LLC, a California limited liability
company ("Company"), collectively referred to as the "parties."
WHEREAS, the parties entered into the Agreement on August 1, 2025;
WHEREAS, the Agreement is set to expire on January 31, 2026; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the Agreement to extend its term until
June 30, 2026, and to cap the maximum total compensation authorized pursuant to the
Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, in exchange for valuable consideration, the receipt of which
is hereby acknowledged, the parties agree as follows:
1. Section 5.1 of the Agreement is hereby amended to read as follows:
"5.1 Compensation forCompany an Services. All Company Services provided
pursuant to this Agreement will be provided in accordance with the terms,
including compensation amounts and schedule of remittance, set forth in the
"List of Company Services," attached hereto as Schedule A. Total
compensation during the term of this Agreement may not exceed $25,000."
2. The final sentence of Section 8.1 of the Agreement is amended to read as
follows:
"Unless earlier terminated as set forth below, this Agreement shall be
effective as of the date first set out above and shall continue until June 30,
2026."
3. This Amendment may be executed in duplicate originals, each of which is
deemed to be an original, and may be executed in counterparts. Electronically
signed copies of this Amendment utilizing technology which conforms to the
requirements in both Government Code Section 16.5 and 2 California Code of
Regulations Section 22003 shall legally bind the parties to the same extent as
original documents.
4. Except as modified by this Amendment 1, all other terms and conditions of
the Agreement remain the same.
