CONTRACT 6441D AmendmentAgreement No. 6441 D Agreement No. 6441 D FOURTH AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT NO. 6441 BETWEEN THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO AND THE CENTRE FOR ORGANIZATION EFFECTIVENESS THIS FOURTH AMENDMENT ("Amendment') to Agreement No. 6441 ("Agreement') is made and entered into this 101h day of December 2025, by and between the CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, a general law city and municipal corporation existing under the laws of California ("CITY"), and THE CENTRE FOR ORGANIZATION EFFECTIVENESS, a California Joint Powers Authority ("CONSULTANT"). The parties agree as follows: Pursuant to Section 34 of Agreement No. 6441, Section 7 ("Term") of the Agreement is modified to extend the term so that the Agreement will now expire June 30, 2026. 2. Pursuant to Section 34 of Agreement No. 6441 ("Agreement'), Agreement Exhibit "A" is amended to include the additional compensation information and an updated scope of services described in Attachment 1 to this amendment which is attached and incorporated by reference. 3. This Amendment may be executed in any number or counterparts, each of which will be an original, but all of which together constitutes one instrument executed on the same date. In accordance with Government Code §16.5, the parties agree that this Amendment will be considered signed when the signature of a party is delivered by electronic transmission. Such electronic signature will be treated in all respects as having the same effect as an original signature. CONSULTANT warrants that its signatory (or signatories, as applicable) to this Amendment has the legal authority to enter this Amendment and bind CONSULTANT accordingly. 4. Except as modified by this Amendment, all other terms and conditions of the Agreement remain the same. Since 1993, The Centre has partnered with hundreds of such organizations to drive important outcomes. We look forward to working with you on this important work. SCOPE The City of El Segundo has requested afull-day session for the Human Resources Department including DISC. The other part of the day to be built and customized for the needs of the Human Resources team. In the DISC sessions, participants will: • Introduce and define DISC • Understand your behavioral tendencies and develop an understanding of how your behavior affects others • Respect, appreciate, understand and value individual differences • Learn communication tips • Preview individual strengths within team contexts CONSULTANT Brian Beamish, Ph.D. Brian R. Beamish has more than 30years of public service experience in large and medium -size government organizations. He has been recognized as a change agent and as an innovative executive responsible for leading large departments, developing and administering budgets, and coaching and mentoring staff throughout organizations. For more than 25 years, Brian has consulted with and provided organizational development services to private and public organizations across the United States and internationally. He has led significant change initiatives and has developed and facilitated customized training programs. Brian frequently serves as an executive coach and as a keynote speaker. He has been a featured presenter in California and conferences acrossthe country as well as a core faculty memberfor a national consulting training and development firm, faculty at Grand Canyon University, and The Williams Institute for Ethics. He uses validated assessments that identify employee strengths and preferences, and that help individuals, teams, and organizations develop "fit," which maximizes capability and alignment. Brian has a Ph.D. and master's degree in Consulting Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Diego, a master's degree in Education in Counseling and Human Relations from Northern Arizona University, and a Bachelor of Science in Management of Technical Operations from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. Brian is a member of the American Psychological Association, Societyfor Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and the Society of Consulting Psychology. COST ESTIMATE The cost estimate for this project is $6,375 and includes design, preparation, facilitation, 6 DISC assessments, assessment administration, upto10 customized DISC name tents, travel for the presenter, and Centre Project Support. City of El Segundo to provide the location, flip charts and flip chart paper, A/V, and food. Support requested by the Client that extends beyond the scope of this proposal will be billed at an hourly rate of $355. Additional materials and expenses, if any, will be billed at an additional cost. BILLING All projects are billed on a net-30 basis. This project will be billed on the schedule below. Any charges in addition to those outlined in this scope that result from Client requests will be billed on the first subsequent installment. Participants may transfer their spots to other qualified colleagues only with the Centre's prior approval. • The client will provide the location, all A/V equipment, flipchart stand/paper (as needed), and food. • If the scope extends pastJune 2026, the client will be invoiced for services rendered through June 2026 and the remaining services upon the next project installment or upon completion of the project. • This proposal and pricing are valid through June 30, 2026.
