Good Evening and Happy Holidays,
I just watched tonight's council meeting 12/3 and first off wanted to say Thank You all so very much
for your attention and concern for Candy Cane Lane, I have chaired this event for 30 years and
appreciate the input and help from all of you and the City Staff.
I just want to give input on 2 items for the future, regarding selling. I think having it on opening
night is not a great idea especially with the crowds we get that night, so maybe next year we can
revisit that, but do appreciate the cutting it down and having them follow LA County guidelines.
On the part of Santa, in the past 2 years we have cut down the amount of nights he is here, to try and
mitigate the crowds. He is here on Opening Night, then only on weeknights, so this year that is Tues
16th - Friday 19th and Mon 22nd and 23rd. I have thought about cutting out Friday, but kept it for
this year to see how it is.
