THIRD AMENDMENT TO
AGREEMENT NO. 6865 BETWEEN
THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO AND
ARCADIS
THIS THIRD AMENDMENT ("Amendment") to Agreement No. 6865 ("Agreement") is
made and entered into this 20TH day of August, 2025, by and between the CITY OF EL
SEGUNDO, a general law city and municipal corporation existing under the laws of
California ("CITY"), and ARCADIS, a California general partnership ("CONSULTANT").
The parties agree as follows:
In addition to the amount set forth in Agreement Section 1(C), the CITY agrees to
pay CONSULTANT an additional sum not to exceed One Hundred Eighty-four
Thousand, Five Hundred, Twenty dollars ($184,520.00), total contract sum not to
exceed Six Hundred Thirty-eight Thousand, Eight Hundred fifty-four dollars
($638,854.00) for CONSULTANT's services, for the increased scope specified in
the attached "Attachment 4", which is incorporated by reference.
2. This Amendment may be executed in any number or counterparts, each of which
will be an original, but all of which together constitutes one instrument executed on
the same date. In accordance with Government Code §16.5, the parties agree that
this Amendment will be considered signed when the signature of a party is
delivered by electronic transmission. Such electronic signature will be treated in all
respects as having the same effect as an original signature. CONSULTANT
warrants that its signatory (or signatories, as applicable) to this Amendment has the
legal authority to enter this Amendment and bind CONSULTANT accordingly.
3. Except as modified by this Amendment, all other terms and conditions of the
Agreement remain the same.

Administration Services
Dear Cheryl
Scope of work includes construction administration services incurred due to the changes to the design during
construction for the Urho Saari Swim Stadium Renovation project. Arcadis is requesting the approval of additional
services and fees to proceed with the unforeseen conditions and the extension for providing continued Construction
Administration services.
Scope of Work
Scope of work for construction administration services includes tasks as described below.
Architectural
• Collaborating with the contractor to resolve new mechanical unit locations.
• Addressing and redesigning the locker room stairs to align with the intended layout and safety standards.
• Providing revised solutions for the locker room ramp and adjacent corridor to ensure accessible and code -
compliant circulation.
• Assisting with the coordination and documentation of the back sewer connection for streamlined utility
integration.
• Supporting the replacement of all exterior windows in response to termite damage.
• Redesigning the lobby reception display cases to incorporate bulletproof and impact -resistant glazing,
enhancing security.
• Addressing the floor changes at the lobby and pool deck.
• Provide continued Construction Administration Services for extended CA schedule.
MEP Services
1. Coordinate RFI 081 - Conflict between sewer lateral and existing grade beams in the Men's locker room for
your review.
2. Coordinate RF1103 —Coordinating and confirming replacement of plumbing lines in mechanical room.

Schedule
The project shall be completed expeditiously, consistent with the Standard of Care for our Industry.
Scope Exclusions

Compensation: We propose to provide the above referenced services for the following not to exceed fee of
$184,520 (One hundred eighty-four thousand, five hundred and twenty dollars). Please refer to below the
breakdown per City's request:
• Architectural $ 180,040
• Electrical $ 4,480
TOTAL
$ 184,520
Invoices shall be submitted as work is completed during the time period.
This fee is inclusive of all reimbursable expenses. Please contact me if you have any questions.

3. Introba's fees for technology design assume that all installation contracts will be awarded to pre -qualified professional
contractors licensed with considerable experience in this type of work and that the contractor will be a subcontractor to the
overall General Contractor,
EXCLUDED SERVICES
The following services are not included in the fee amount indicated above and will be charged on an hourly basis at our pre-set
hourly charges or on a negotiated fixed fee basis:
1. Any services not listed in Scope of Services description.
2. Work on buildings and site other than those described under "Project Understanding" above
3. Review of Change Order Requests resulting from Owner changes
4. Additional Site Visits
5. Close out of punch list items
6. Record drawings of completed project (Contractor shall provide as -built drawings in Owner requested formats)
