SECOND AMENDMENT TO
AGREEMENT NO. 6865 BETWEEN
THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO AND
ARCADIS
THIS SECOND AMENDMENT ("Amendment") to Agreement No. 6865 ("Agreement") is
made and entered into this 17TH day of July, 2025, by and between the CITY OF EL
SEGUNDO, a general law city and municipal corporation existing under the laws of
California ("CITY"), and ARCADIS, a California general partnership ("CONSULTANT").
The parties agree as follows:
In addition to the amount set forth in Agreement Section 1(C), the CITY agrees to
pay CONSULTANT an additional sum not to exceed Twenty Thousand, Seven
Hundred, Twenty dollars ($20,720.00), total contract sum not to exceed Four
Hundred Fifty-four Thousand, Six Hundred thirty-four dollars ($454,634.00) for
CONSULTANT's services, for the increased scope specified in the attached
"Attachment 2" and "Attachment 3", which is incorporated by reference.
2. This Amendment may be executed in any number or counterparts, each of which
will be an original, but all of which together constitutes one instrument executed on
the same date. In accordance with Government Code §16.5, the parties agree that
this Amendment will be considered signed when the signature of a party is
delivered by electronic transmission. Such electronic signature will be treated in all
respects as having the same effect as an original signature. CONSULTANT
warrants that its signatory (or signatories, as applicable) to this Amendment has the
legal authority to enter this Amendment and bind CONSULTANT accordingly.
3. Except as modified by this Amendment, all other terms and conditions of the
Agreement remain the same.

Scope of work includes construction administration services incurred due to the changes to the design during
construction for the Urho Saari Swim Stadium Renovation project. Arcadis is requesting the approval of additional
services and fees to proceed with the redesign of the over pool lighting and speaker systems due to maintenance
concerns.
Scope of Work
Scope of work for construction administration services includes tasks as described below.
Structural
1. Design and detail secondary framing to support the new lighting design. Provide connections to existing
structure
2. Check existing structure to support the new lighting design
3. Updates to structural drawings
Electrical
1. Coordinate new fixture locations and revise lighting plans
2. Update Title 24
3. Update Emergency lighting photometrics
Schedule
The project shall be completed expeditiously, consistent with the Standard of Care for our Industry.

Compensation: We propose to provide the above referenced services for the following not to exceed fee of $10,800
(Ten thousand, eight hundred and twenty dollars). Please refer to below the breakdown per City's request:

Invoices shall be submitted as work is completed during the time period.

The lighting and speaker layout is revised due to concerns with future maintenance. Structural engineering tasks

On February 23, 2025 we were notified by Michael Wahl of Arcadis via email about changes required to the lighting
design above the pool at the Urho Saari Swim Stadium in El Segundo. A lighting layout and lightin product data was
provided. Product to be coordinated is Lighttruss LED Gen 2 24". This additional service is for the electrical changes to
accommodate the new lighting layout.

ASSUMPTIONS
1. This Additional Services proposal assumes the terms and conditions of the existing contract
2. Scope, Fees, and Terms and Conditions outlined herein are valid for 30 days
3. Introba's fees for technology design assume that all installation contracts will be awarded to pre -qualified professional
contractors licensed with considerable experience in this type of work and that the contractor will be a subcontractor to the
overall General Contractor.
4. There will only be 1 revision to the pool lighting.
EXCLUDED SERVICES
The following services are not included in the fee amount indicated above and will be charged on an hourly basis at our pre-set
hourly charges or on a negotiated fixed fee basis:
1. Any services not listed in Scope of Services description.
2. Work on buildings and site other than those described under "Project Understanding" above
3. Review of Change Order Requests resulting from Owner changes
4. Additional Site Visits
5. Close out of punch list items
6. Record drawings of completed project (Contractor shall provide as -built drawings in Owner requested formats)

workstation power and data installation. The furniture vendor will be responsible for providing dimensions
for all furniture related floor monuments/in feeds
• Furniture and workstation egress clearances on vendor's plans.
• Furniture punch walk/list.
