Why the Fire Department Needs This?
• Improve situational awareness on all -hazard incidents which drives
decision -making in the field.
• Increases efficiency while in unified command with ESPD and other
auto/mutual aid partners — public safety drone program.
• Drone 1st Responder
• Bystander AED/CPR drone response, coordinated by Battalion Chief
• Steam live drone video from the command post to the EOC to
improve awareness for management teams and elected officials.
• Addresses need to maintain pace with growing technology and
enhance current software applications (First Due/Tablet Command)
