DEI in El Segundo - top priority for many

Hello ES council members,
I recently read that DEI is potentially becoming less of a priority with the new council that was elected in
November. As a resident of El Segundo for over 2 years, I want to make my voice heard that we should
not be reducing meetings for the DEI committee by 75%. DEI is a top 5 strategic priority for the city as a
whole and deserves attention to ensure all residents feel welcomed here. Our city has had a long history
of racism that we've made strides in ensuring all people are represented and heard.
Please consider the long term implications of your decisions before making these rash decisions that
likely will have dangerous outcomes for our amazing city.
