CONTRACT 6016D AmendmentAgreement No. 6016D FOURTH AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT NO.6016 BETWEEN THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO AND KNB CONSULTING, LLC. THIS FOURTH AMENDMENT ("Amendment") to Agreement No. 6016 ("Agreement") is made and entered into this 1st day of July 2024, by and between the CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, a general law city and municipal corporation existing under the laws of California (" CITY"), and KNB Consulting, LLC, a California Liability Company ("CONSULTANT"). The parties agree as follows: 1. The consideration Section 1(C) will be amended to increase the total amount of the Agreement by $96,000 per fiscal year, so that the total, not -to -exceed amount of the Agreement is $394,000. 2. The term as stated in Section 7 will be amended to extend the Agreement to June 30, 2025. 3. The scope of services Section 2(A) will be amended per attached Exhibit "A." 4. This Amendment may be executed in any number or counterparts, each of which will be an original, but all of which together constitutes one instrument executed on the same date. In accordance with Government Code §16.5, the parties agree that this Amendment will be considered signed when the signature of a party is delivered by electronic transmission. Such electronic signature will be treated in all respects as having the same effect as an original signature. CONSULTANT warrants that its signatory (or signatories, as applicable) to this Amendment has the legal authority to enter this Amendment and bind CONSULTANT accordingly. 5. Except as modified by this Amendment, all other terms and conditions of the Agreement remain the same. Communication Goals • Local o Continue to build community goodwill through proactive and timely communications o Support department initiatives with media relations when needed Regional/National o Build awareness about the City's unique offerings o Position the City of El Segundo as a go -to destination for travelers interested in local getaways or a quick trip when traveling through LAX o Highlight culinary and cultural offerings Objectives • Continue to support the City of El Segundo's strategic initiatives and City Hall departments with communication plan strategy and initiatives execution • Build awareness among media and influencer outlets to drive third -party endorsement and brand awareness in a cost-effective manner • Support the Communications Team and Economic Development Team with expert support Proposal Initiatives • Expert support and specialized skills in the utilization of communications software platforms to implement the City of El Segundo's Communications Plan initiatives o Work with City Manager's office and City departments to execute initiatives to achieve communication goals for 2024-2025. • Strategic public relations services and communications expertise to address City-wide issues, media relations issues, and Hospitality & Tourism strategic public relations support. o Utilize PR expertise and initiatives to support hotels, retail, dining and cultural stakeholders in the City of El Segundo through stakeholder engagement, third -party endorsement and media relations and event support. • 2025-2027 Communications Plan —Align communications goals with the City's Strategic Plan; integrate feedback from the community survey into proactive initiatives within the plan; and revise and update the plan with department input. • Develop new information flows on the City's website to highlight key projects. Timing J u ly 1, 2024 — J u n e 30, 2025 Agreement No. 6016D Communications Division's budget is $64,800, and the Economic Development budget is $30,000. Services provided are not to exceed a budget total of $94,800forJuly 1, 2024—June 30, 2025. Updates and progress recaps will be shared with the team on a timely basis; submitted on a weekly and/or monthly basis along with monthly billing not to exceed $7,900/per month.
