• Approx. 75,312 individuals experiencing homelessness
• Based on LAHSA's 2024 census
• .27% decrease from 751518 in 2023
• Increase from 691,144 in 2022
• El Segundo is not immune
• During the homeless count on January 24, 202-4-
• 13 individuals observed and counted
• 42 dwellings observed and counted
9 Vehicles, campers, tents, and makeshift shelters
Not Just A
Police Issue
• Homelessness is not a crime
• It can lead to non -criminal
and quality of life issues:
