FIRST AMENDMENT TO
AGREEMENT NO. 6315 BETWEEN
THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO AND
WESTBERG WHITE ARCHITECTURE
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT ("Amendment") is made and entered into this 1" day of May,
2023, by and between CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, a general law city and municipal corporation
existing under the laws of California ("CITY"), and WESTBERG WHITE ARCHITECTURE.
("CONSULTANT"). The parties agree as follows:
In addition to the amount set forth in Section 1(C) of Agreement No. 6315, the CITY
agrees to pay CONSULTANT an additional sum not to exceed fifty thousand dollars,
($50,000.00), total contract sum not to exceed one -hundred twenty-five thousand
dollars ($125,000.00) for CONSULTANT's services, for the increased scope specified
in the attached "Exhibit B", which is incorporated by reference.
2. Pursuant to Section 34 of the Agreement, the term of the Agreement described in
Section 8 is extended through June 30, 2024.
In accordance with Government Code § 16.5, the parties agree that this Amendment
will be considered signed when the signature of a party is delivered by electronic
transmission. Such electronic signature will be treated in all respects as having the
same effect as an original signature.
4. This Amendment may be executed in any number of counterparts, each of which will
be an original, but all of which together constitutes one instrument executed on the
same date.
Except as modified by this Amendment, all other terms and conditions of Agreement
No. 6315 will remain the same.

Project Management Services
Westberg White Architecture (WWA) will support the City to ensure the planning and architectural develop
of construction documentation meets the Cities goals and objectives of the project. This will be
accomplished by working closely with the City Public Works Department who is in charge of facilitating
the project. WWA will expand our current scope of services for this project as a Project Manager working
alongside the Public Works Department, Cohesively as one with the Public Works team in charge with the
project.
With our involvement to date we have a great understanding of how the project is proceeding and feel
confident our expanded role will be beneficial to assisting the City with a successful outcome. Our
professional services directives will be consistent to the needs of the City Project Engineer which include
the components of our Project Management role as listed below.
Scope of expanded role as Project Manager
A. Provide all professional services as outlined in our original agreement with the City.
B. Become the City's eyes and ears in the background to assist the City Project Engineer in leading
the project.
C. Review all design documents to ensure they are consistent with the previously established project
design requirements.
D. Engage with the project Architect to help move the project forward.
E. Review and comment as required on all project schedule miles stones and deadlines to ensure
the Architect meets the City's project schedule.
F. Championing all design meetings alongside the City Project Engineer. This will help the Architect
expedite progress on the project to meet the established project schedule.
G. Champion all project meeting alongside the City Project Engineer, develop all meeting minutes
and create an ongoing "Required Action" section to help the Architect meet their deadline. This
action section of the meeting minutes will be reviewed at each project meeting with dates of when
a particular action was created and when it ultimately is completed. This will help the City
understand in a documented method of who delays may occurred in the project design phase.
H. Assist the City Project Engineer in reviewing all design product submittals. This will be a
coordinated effort internally and then comments and/or approvals will be given to the Architect in
a timely matter.
