FIRST AMENDMENT TO
AGREEMENT NO.6496 BETWEEN
THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO AND
MNS ENGINEERS, INC.
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT ("Amendment") to Agreement No. 6496 (the "Agreement") is
made and entered into this 181' day of May, 2023, by and between CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, a
general law city and municipal corporation existing under the laws of California ("CITY"), and
MNS Engineers, Inc. ("CONSULTANT"). The parties agree as follows:
Pursuant to Agreement Section 34 (Authority/Modification), Agreement Exhibit "A"
and Agreement Section 4 (Payments) are amended to update the personnel categories
and associated costs as set forth in Attachment 1 to this Amendment, which is
incorporated by reference.
2. In accordance with Government Code § 16.5, the parties agree that this Amendment
will be considered signed when the signature of a party is delivered by electronic
transmission. Such electronic signature will be treated in all respects as having the
same effect as an original signature.
3. This Amendment may be executed in any number of counterparts, each of which will
be an original, but all of which together constitutes one instrument executed on the
same date.
4. Except as modified by this Amendment, all other terms and conditions of the
Agreement will remain the same.

Use of outside consultants as well as copies, blueprints, survey stakes, monuments, computer plots, telephone, travel (out of area) and all
similar charges directly connected with the work will be charged at cost plus fifteen percent (15%). Mileage will be charged at the current
federal mileage reimbursement rate. Expert Witness services will be charged at three (3) times listed rate.
IPIREVAIIN.IIING WAGIE RATES
Rates shown with Prevailing Wage "(PW)" annotation are used for field work on projects subject to federal or state prevailing wage law
and are subject to increases per DIR.
ANNUAL ESCALATION
Standard fee rates provided for each classification are subject to 3.5% annual escalation or the most recent US Bureau of Labor Statistics,
Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers, whichever is higher.
OVERTIME
Overtime for non-exempt employees will be charged at 1.5 x hourly rate; overtime for exempt employees and other classification will be
charged at 1 x hourly rate.
