CONTRACT 5872A Amendment CLOSEDAgreement No. 5872A FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT NO.5872 BETWEEN THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO AND SECOND CITY PLUMBING THIS FIRST AMENDMENT ("Amendment") is made and entered into this 23rd day of November 2022, by and between CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, a general law city and municipal corporation existing under the laws of California ("CITY"), and SECOND CITY PLUMBING, a sole proprietor ("CONTRACTOR"). Pursuant to Section 19 of Agreement No. 5872 ("Agreement"), Section 1(C) is amended to reads as follows: "As additional consideration, CITY agrees to pay CONTRACTOR for CONTRACTOR's services an additional sum not to exceed Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000), for a total of $100,000 for the term of the agreement. CITY will pay for work on the basis of the hourly rates and cost reimbursement rates as specified in the attached Exhibit "A", which is incorporated by reference." 2. This Amendment may be executed by the parties on any number of separate counterparts, and all such counterparts so executed constitute one Amendment binding on all the parties notwithstanding that all the parties are not signatories to the same counterpart. In accordance with Government Code § 16.5, the parties agree that this Amendment will be considered signed when the signature of a party is delivered by electronic transmission. Such electronic signature will be treated in all respects as having the same effect as an original signature. Except as modified by this Amendment, all other terms and conditions of the Agreement remain the same.
