I estimate a total of three (3) to four (4) days of work to separate the rubber material from the bullet
material and for re -packing the Bullet Trap/Hopper with the recycled rubber material.
SCOPE OF WORK:
The following removal actions will be used to extract lead from the rubber material:
Start raking at the 10 ft. peak base of the Bullet Trap to clean out shotgun wads.
« Commence to remove the rubber, copper jackets/bullet material from the center hot spot
areas of all five (5) -point impact areas of the Bullet Trap. Remove depth of mixed material
which will vary from fourteen inches (14") to sixteen inches (16") deep. Outside of the hot
spots, mining will vary from twelve inches (12") to fourteen inches (14") of mixed material.
All material will be positioned in a row in front of the Bullet Trap. There should be
approximately ten (10) to twelve (12) cubic yards of material extracted from the twenty -foot
(20') x ten -foot (101) Bullet Trap area.
Use Range Maintenance Services, LLC, Gran Trap Vacuum to separate bullet material from
the rubber trap material. The vacuum machine will blow the rubber back into the Bullet
Trap through a series of six -inch (6") duct pipes then leaving the bullet material on the floor
to be shoveled into one- gallon containers for transportation.
• Fill hopper in the upper part of the Bullet Trap by utilizing the trap vacuum.
• Shovel and rake rubber media to re-create factory specification sloped angle for Bullet Trap.
* Use customer's extra bags of rubber material to insure proper angle.
• Remove bullet material from premises.
The above -described scope of labor, transportation costs, and transportation of bullet material off
site, and lodging included; all costs and fees for additional insured certificates required by the City of
El Segundo and business license fees required by the City of El Segundo are also included in the total
cost of work to be performed:
TOTAL COST: $7,300.00
