SECOND AMENDMENT TO
AGREEMENT NO.6016 BETWEEN
THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO AND
KNB CONSULTING, LLC.
THIS SECOND AMENDMENT ("Amendment") is made and entered into this 1s` day of July
2022, by and between the CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, a general law city and municipal
corporation existing under the laws of California ("CITY"), and KNB CONSULTING, LLC.
("CONSULTANT"). The parties agree as follows:
The parties desire to amend the Agreement by increasing the total amount of the
Agreement by $86,000, so that the total, not -to -exceed amount of the Agreement is
$202,000.
2. The parties desire to extend the Agreement to June 30, 2023.
3. The scope of services Section2(A) will be amended per attached Exhibit "A".
4. This Amendment may be executed in any number of counterparts, each of which will
be an original, but all of which together constitutes one instrument executed on the
same date.
Except as modified by this Amendment, all other terms and conditions of Agreement
No.6016 remain the same.

The City of El Segundo would like to continue to increase overall brand awareness forthe City and
complement existing marketing and communications initiatives in 2022-2023.

o Continue to build community goodwill through proactive and timely communications

o Build awareness aboutthe City's unique offerings
o Position the City of El Segundo as a go -to destination fortravelers interested in local
getaways ora quick trip when traveling through LAX
o Highlight culinary and cultural offerings
Objectives
• Continueto supportthe City of El Segundo's strategic initiatives and City Hall departmentswith
communication plan strategy and initiatives execution
• Build awareness among media and influencer outlets to drive third -party endorsement and brand
awareness in a cost-effective manner
• Supportthe Communications Team and Economic DevelopmentTeam with expert support
Proposal Initiatives
• Expert support and specialized skills in the utilization of communications software platformsto
implementthe City of El Segundo's Communications Plan initiatives
o Work with City Manager's office and City departments to execute initiatives to achieve
communication goals for2022-2023
Strategic public relations services and communications expertise to address City-wide issues,
media relations issues, and Hospitality & Tourism strategic public relations support
o Utilize PR expertise and initiatives to support hotels, retail, dining and cultural
stakeholders in the City of El Segundo through stakeholder engagement, third party
endorsement and media relations and event support.
Timing
July 1, 2022 — June 30, 2023
Budget
Communications Division budgettotal of $50,000 and Economic Development of $36,000.
Services provided are not to exceed a budgettotal of $86,000 forJuly 1, 2022— June 30, 2023.
Updates and progress recapswill be shared with the team on a timely basis; submitted on a weekly
and/or monthly basis along with monthly billing not to exceed $7,166/per month.
