CONTRACT 6048A AmendmentAgreement No. 6048A FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT NO. 6048 BETWEEN THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO AND KOFF & ASSOCIATES, A DIVISION OF GALLAGHER BENEFIT SERVICES, INC. THIS FIRST AMENDMENT ("Amendment") is made and entered into this 5"' day of August 2022, by and between the CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, a general law city and municipal corporation existing under the laws of California ("CITY"), and KOFF & ASSOCIATES, a DIVISION OF GALLAGHER BENEFIT SERVICES, INC., a California corporation ("CONSULTANT"). The parties agree as follows: 1. Pursuant to Section 34 of Agreement No. 6048 ("Agreement"), Section 1C is amended to read as follows: " In addition to the amount set forth in Section 1 C of the agreement, the CITY agrees to pay the CONSULTANT an additional thirty three thousand eight hundred and seventy dollars ($33,870.00) for additional services associated with the classification study of six administrative support classifications and FLSA audit, total contract sum not to exceed forty nine thousand eight hundred and seventy dollars ($49,870.00) for CONSULTANT's services." 2. Agreement Section 2(A) is amended to augment the services in Agreement Exhibit "A" with the additional services set forth in Attachment 1 to this Amendment. 3. Pursuant to Section 34 of Agreement No. 6048 ("Agreement"), the term of the Agreement described in Section 7 is hereby extended to June 30, 2023. The parties agree that this amendment will take effect retroactively on April 18, 2022. 4. All references to "KANEKO & KRAMMER CORP, dba KOFF & ASSOCIATES" in the agreement are hereby replaced with "KOFF & ASSOCIATES, a DIVISION OF GALLAGHER BENEFIT SERVICES, INC." 5. This Amendment may be executed in any number or counterparts, each of which will be an original, but all of which together constitutes one instrument executed on the same date. 6. Except as modified by this Amendment, all other terms and conditions of Agreement No. 6048 remain the same. Some studies, and some positions, are more challenging than others. The cost quote below is our best effort in anticipating the amount of consultant time and, of course, we will only charge the City of actual hours worked. The actual work may require less work than our best estimate below. For example, one main variable is the requirement to update current or develop new classification descriptions (Deliverable F).
