FIRST AMENDMENT TO
AGREEMENT NO. 6045 BETWEEN
THE CITY OF EL SEGUNi DO
AND JEFF CASON
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT ("Amendment") is made and entered into this 21 st day of
October, 2021, by and between the CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, a general law city and municipal
corporation existing under the laws of California ("CITY"), and Jeff Cason, Sole Proprietor
("CONSULTANT").
CITY and CONSULTANT intend for this Amendment to be retroactively effective to
July 1, 2021.
2. Pursuant to Section 34 of Agreement No. 6045 ("Agreement"), initial sentence of
Section I(C) is amended to read: As additional consideration, CITY agrees to pay
CONSULTANT a sun of not to exceed FOURTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS
($14,000) for CONSULTANT's services." CITY will pay for services as specified in
the attached Exhibit "B" which is incorporated by reference.
Pursuant to Section 34 or the Agreement, Agreement Section 7 is amended to read:
"The term of this Amendment will be from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022."
4. This Amendment may be executed in any number or counterparts, each of which will be
an original, but all of which together constitutes one instrument executed on the same
date.
In accordance with Government Code § 16.5, the Parties agree that this Amendment and
related documents in connection with this Amendment will be considered signed when
the signature of a party is delivered by electronic transmission. Such electronic signature
will be treated in all respects as having the same effect as an original signature
6. Except as modified by this Amendment, all other terms and conditions of the Agreement
remain the same.

WATER TANK LIGHTING SCOPE OF WORK 2021-2022:
SCOPE:
WITH THE SUCCESS OF THE INITIAL HIGH TANK LIGHTING DESIGN, THE CITY MANAGER AND PUBLIC
WORKS DIRECTOR HAVE REQUESTED THATJEFF CASON CREATE ADDITIONAL LIGHT DESIGNS TO BE
USED IN SUPPORT OF MULTIPLE HOLIDAYS AND EVENTS TRHOUGHOUTTHE YEAR.
RATE:
THIS REQUEST WILL REQUIRE ANOTHER DESIGN AND SET UP FEE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2021-2022 AT THE
TOTAL COST OF $5700.
