I spoke with each of you after the meeting. I'm writing to inquire about what progress may or may not have been made re the topic of transportation for seniors and others in need of easily affordable transportation within the City. We also discussed how since Metro/Micro is not a door-to-door service it is no use to those of us who can't get to and from the pickup points. Somehow I got the idea that the $2 to $4 trips on Lyft were already in effect and that you all were working on something even more affordable. However, when I reached the Joslyn Center yesterday by phone to ask about registering for the service I was told that it is not yet in effect and that I should call back in a couple of weeks to ask again. Please let me know about any progress made so far and when to expect (plan for) a usable service for us. I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Teresa (Teri) Campbell
